Teaching practice is a period that a student teacher spends teaching at a school as part of his or her training.
Our school internship has started from today(09/10/2023). Teaching practice is an important part of the B.Ed course . Fourteen students from Government College of teacher education Thycaud Thiruvananthapuram (GCTE) came to Cotton Hill School for teaching practice. Here the School time is 9:20. I went to school with great excitement and little fear. School induction was done here because I had an idea about this school. Bhagya and Parvathi was chosen as the leader. The teachers of Cotton Hill school gave us orientation class. Teachers explained the methods and systems followed by this school. A classroom was arranged for us. I went to see my biology teachers. Portions to teach were asked to them. Teachers asked us to work as a part of this school. I consider this as a great opportunity.
My first class was on Thursday. I got to teach the classes 9E and 8E. I taught class 9E for the first time. After that he taught 8th standard( 8E). I had Thursday and Friday of this week to teach these classes. I was able to take the class well because it was well prepared and I took the classes using PPT.
