A food fest was held at Cotton Hill School today(22/11/23). This food fest was led by Rekha teacher, head of biology department . The food fest was presided over by Rekha teacher and was inaugurated by additional HM .Everyone was busy with the food fest till this afternoon and that's why there were no classes for the students till this afternoon. All the children of that school participated in Footfest. Teachers and staff all bought food items and encouraged them. Various types of food were available from there. Children from UP section also participated in the food fest. All the food items were homemade food items. Most of the food items were prepared by the children themselves. The teacher asked the children to make more food items using millets. Children had classes in afternoon. I bought tomato rice and kappa from the students and ate it. All the food items there were very delicious. By conducting food fests, a cooperative mentality can be developed in the students. Similarly, this is an opportunity to make children understand why homely food is better than fast food. Some children learned to prepare their own food. Learning to make their own food is a great thing.
