International Human Rights Day

December 10, 2022
International Human Rights Day is observed on December 10 annually. The main aim behind celebrating this day is to improve the physical, social, cultural, and spiritual well-being and welfare of the vulnerable group of people globally.
GCTE celebrated Human Rights Day. The celebration was jointly organized by the Department of Social Science. The event was organized offline mode. Principal sir shared his valuable message with us. He further motivated the students that respecting the rights of others and performing their duties with full sincerity will make relevance to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, given by the United Nations, and the related rights, given in the Indian Constitution. Teachers enlightened their student-teachers through thought-provoking speeches on human rights. Moreover, human rights day is celebrated to raise awareness about people's social, cultural, and physical rights and to ensure the welfare of everyone. Social science association also conducted poster-making competitions and Quiz competitions. The students from each department showcased their talent by preparing posters on the theme of human rights.
Social science association organized "Expression Wall: Express yourself" in connection with International Human Rights Day. All participants in this program wrote their rights and wishes without any restrictions on that expression. This was the most impressive one in this program.
