Inter Training College Competition

February 22 & 23 , 2023

 The Inter Training College Competition was conducted in 3 days. Its convener is our honorable Principal VK Santhosh Kumar sir and its coordinator is Rajshree teacher of natural science. The first day started with a quiz competition. Our college team won the second prize.  

The second day after that was the elocution competition in the morning. In the afternoon was the Teaching Aid Competition. I was also in the registration committee of teaching aid competition. We were able to get the first prize in Science Exhibition Keerthana Anil and the rest in Social Science and Literature got second prize.

The third day after that was the competition to select the best teacher. When that program took place, we sat and watched as the audience. Through this program it was possible to identify and find children with different abilities. Anyway, it was a very good competition. 

ARTS FEST

February 21 & 22, 2023

Arts fest was held under the arts club Onche. The competitions were held for two days. This program was coordinated by Asha teacher. Vinita ma'am (Lecturer in Dance, Sree Swathi Thirunal Govt. College of Music, Thiruvananthapuram) came to inaugurate it. Similarly, there were dance performances by Vintha ma'am. After that Bhagya dance was performed. Her performance was outstanding. The first program was folk dance. 

The second day of the arts fest was included art programs such as Thiruvathira, Oppana , fancy dress, etc. I was in thiruvathira dance and got second prize for our group. 

The name of the present Arts Fest was Thodayam. Students of BEd and MEd were divided into four groups. Each group was given names of Kathakali figures. Our group name was Panchari. Winners are announced at the end of the competitions. We, the first years, won with overall points. I am very happy to get such an opportunity to participate in this Arts Fest. 

Science Day

28 February 28

Today was science day. Science Day was celebrated in the afternoon. Today's Science Day was also conducted by the Physical Science department. Anju teacher of physical science was the coordinator of this programme. Because of Science Day, there was a special assembly in the morning, and in that assembly, topics related to science were discussed. In the morning assembly CV explained about Raman and Raman effect by Alfiya and Anupama. 

Ajayakumar sir, my chemistry teacher in my women's college, came as a resource person for the science day program. Accident Discoveries in Science was the topic he covered. It was a very good class.

WOMEN'S DAY

March 8, 2023

GCTE celebrated Women's Day today. Women's Cell's program related to Women's Day started at 10am. The welcome speech of this program was given by Sheena Elizabeth Varghese teacher. The inaugural address was delivered by VK Santhosh Kumar sir, our college principal. The first station was about Reproductive Health. This top was handled by Dr. Chandini. The doctor took the class very well. This doctor is a Gynecology Doctor in Government Health Service. 

At the end of this program the recitation was given by a Rehna MEd student. The session after that deal with the topic of General Equality by another doctor. Vote of thanks delivered by Revathi. The program was anchored by Kavya Sagar. This program was held in the general hall.
