Constitution Day, also known as "National Law Day", is celebrated in India on 26 November every year to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India. On 26 November 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution of India, and it came into effect on 26 January 1950.
GCTE social science association conducted a program related to constitution day. This program was organized on the previous Saturday but that was a holiday. So social science association conducted that program today. Ancyla briefly introduced the constitution. The association members sang Vande Mataram songs for us. Sandhya read the preamble of the Indian constitution. Arsha, Sini, Mariya, and Sudheera explained fundamental rights and articles related to that.
